Good Seed Trust is all about empowering whanau to be the best they can be, this year we backed Pink Shirt Day. Across our centres we hosted pink parties & a morning tea at our Panama community.
At Good Seed Trust our mission is to strengthen whanau, at our Good Seeds we spent the morning to educate our children on how we treat each other with kindness, respect and to "love our neighbor." It was incredibly impactful to see how much our tamariki cared about the cause, and continued to remind each other throughout the day to "not be a bully" and to "love each other!" Our tamariki enjoyed a wide spread of pink treats and proceeded to burn them off running around outside with each other.
Days like these are pivotal reminders for us that when we bring community together, we can do great things. It reminds us of our duty to build strong communities so our whanau units may thrive.
‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12:31 (NLT)
