OUR CHILDREN'S CENTRE'S:
Good Seeds Children's Centre's have been working with and supporting children and families in ECE for over 15 years. Our belief is that education is one of the main pathways for people to reach their full potential and move from a disadvantaged situation to one of advantage. We want to see the children of our communities be able to access opportunities for their futures.
At Good Seeds we pride ourselves in being a whānau friendly environment for all who come through our doors. Our goal is for our centre to become an extension of home for our tamariki. All of our staff are experienced and local, and from a diverse range of cultures. They treat all children with care and respect, always ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
We also offer a free transport service to collect and drop off (conditions apply).

Here at Riverside, staff become family, they're kind, understanding and Patient to say the least. Our babies become confident learners filled with FUN and all that good stuff. My whanau have had the privilege of celebrating my son's birthday with his friends two years in a row, creating beautiful relationships among our community and everything in between.
Goodseeds was home for my girls, both attended when they were babies and were one of the first when the under 2s area opened up. It was home away from home, the staff all became Aunty and Uncle and memories they shared there will be treasured forever. Forever grateful for the Amazing work the teachers invested in my children. Highly recommend this Centre. My girls now attend the After School care and Holiday Programme and love being part of the older programme that Goodseeds offer. Awesome daycare. My son went there so excited and learnt so much from this school, he came home with a positive attitude, which built his confidence into talking a lot with us and not only his peers. Love the teachers who take good care of him. Best decision I've made since pulling him out of home school. Overall very good day care, so would recommend for all babies/ toddlers. Honestly wouldn't change it for the world
I can't emphasise enough how much of a family feel there is as you walk through the doors at the Glendene campus. The staff and owners place so much importance on your whole whanau and will bend over backwards to ensure you're all taken care of. The teachers care for the tamariki like their own and my daughter has been loved and cherished from day one. I also appreciate their open door policy and how great they are at communicating with parents. Highly recommended this wonderful ECE, I'd give them 7 stars if I could!

The principles and strands of Te Whāriki (Early Childhood Curriculum) are embedded in our practice. We include Christian Values and believe our tamariki are seen as treasures (taonga). Tamariki are unique, and fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalms 139:14)
We believe in Empowering relationships through Aroha (Love), Manaakitanga (Care, Integrity and Respect) and Whanaungatanga (Sense of Family).

OUR LEARNING PHILOSOPHY
Our Learning Philosophy is that children learn best when they are doing something that they are interested in, or child initiatied. We call this "Joyful Learning," At Good Seeds we believe that to be initiated by the child, they need an environment that is mirrored of their home life, for full comfort and security in their time at a centre. The way in which we mirror home life is by having cultural sameness in our staff as in the children, also in an environment where children of all ages at the centre are free to roam the open planned grounds and buildings without walls.
PERKS OF GOOD SEEDS ECE:
Our hours of operation are 7.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. We are open all year long, including the Christmas Holidays, excluding Public Holidays.

Centre Manager (Glendene & Riverside)
Helen has been a qualified and registered Early Childhood Teacher for over 30 years. She brings a vast amount of experience to the organisation and ensures the smooth running of our centre's
Karleen Roache
Centre Leader (Mangere)
Karleen is a mum of three young boys, and has been working for Good Seed for over 10 years. Her extensive experience as a mum and teacher ensures a trusting environment for parents with their tamariki!
